Before
accepting an assignment we meet with the company's management
team to gain an in-depth understanding of the position, the
organization, and the relative strengths and weaknesses of the
company or group. We develop a perspective of the clients' objectives
and expectations to make certain we can accurately communicate
the company's vision to potential candidates. |
RESEARCH
COMPANIES; LOCATE AND CONTACT TARGET INDIVIDUALS
Our
research team uses the selection criteria to identify target
companies and candidates. Typically, search research requires
identification of 30+ targeted individuals. National senior-level
searches often reach 100+ targets. Our industry specialization
and existing database helps speed things up as we already know
many of the companies and the members of management that could
produce candidates. |
INFORM,
SCREEN AND EVALUATE TARGETED INDIVIDUALS
After
narrowing our target list, we begin screening and evaluating.
Phone conversations with a recruiter and an Account Executive
result in a short list of qualified candidates that we present
to the client for review before moving forward. |

Our
Search Activity Report includes real-time, up to the
minute candidate information and is available to our clients. |
EXTENSIVE
INTERVIEWS OF QUALIFIED AND INTERESTED CANDIDATES
The
next interview is conducted in person or via videoconference,
and includes motivation measurement, analysis of direction and
drive, and determination of ability to manage. Behavioral interviewing
and analysis tools are used as needed to make certain we understand
the candidate and how she/he will fit into the client's environment. |
CANDIDATE
SUMMARIES AND REVIEWS TO CLIENT
As
standout target candidates are found, we present the client
with a complete professional and personal summary for each candidate.
At this point we check initial references, typically industry
contacts familiar the candidate's work. |
CLIENT
INTERVIEWS SELECT GROUP; BACKGROUND AND REFERENCE CHECKS FOLLOW
After
reviewing our candidate recommendations, the client selects
which candidate(s) to interview. Typically two or three meetings
ware involved. Prior to the extent of an offer, Primus performs
another 5-8 reference checks and completes an extensive background
check on the selected candidate. |
OFFER,
CLOSURE AND FOLLOW UP
Our
goal is to facilitate resolution of issues and offer acceptance
by the candidate. We work with and represent the client in offer
discussions, and upon acceptance, we assist the candidate in
her/his resignation and transition. For the first ninety days
at the client company, we maintain contact with them and we
follow up with the client to get feedback on the new employee
and on our performance throughout the search. |
